What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Caring Transitions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor has the right, but not the obligation, to establish and maintain a website. This website may promote the Caring Transitions marks, the system, any or all of the permitted products and services, and/or the offer and sale of Caring Transitions franchises. The franchisor also has the right to discontinue the operation of the website at any time in its business judgment.

While Caring Transitions is not obligated to provide a website, franchisees are required to use all websites relating to the franchised business that the franchisor requires. The franchisor retains sole control over all aspects of any website it establishes, including design, content, functionality, links, legal notices, policies, and terms of usage.

Franchisees are prohibited from establishing, maintaining, or operating a separate Caring Transitions website without prior written consent from the franchisor. If a franchisee does receive consent to operate their own website, it must include a hyperlink to the franchisor's website, and all other hyperlinks to third-party websites must be approved in writing by the franchisor. Additionally, any modifications to a franchisee-established website must also be approved in writing by Caring Transitions.

Caring Transitions makes no representations about any website it may provide or make available to franchisees, including its suitability, reliability, or availability, and disclaims all warranties and conditions regarding the website. The franchisor will not be liable for any damages arising out of or related to the use or performance of any website.
