What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Caring Transitions Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are prohibited from registering any domain name containing Caring Transitions' marks or anything related to the franchised business, permitted products, or services that compete with Caring Transitions franchises. Caring Transitions retains ownership of all rights to domain names containing any of its marks.
This restriction ensures that Caring Transitions maintains control over its brand identity and online presence. By preventing franchisees from registering domain names with the Caring Transitions mark, the company avoids potential conflicts and ensures consistent branding across all franchise locations. This policy is typical in franchising, where franchisors prioritize brand uniformity and protection.
As a prospective franchisee, it is important to understand that you cannot independently create a website or online presence that uses the Caring Transitions brand without the franchisor's explicit approval. All websites related to the Caring Transitions business must adhere to the franchisor's standards and guidelines, reinforcing the importance of adhering to the franchisor's marketing and advertising protocols.
