What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Caring Transitions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to adhere strictly to the System Standards when purchasing and installing fixtures. The FDD explicitly states that franchisees must purchase and install the Communication and Information System, along with all fixtures, furnishings, signs, and other equipment, as specified by the System Standards.
This means a Caring Transitions franchisee cannot install any fixtures, furnishings, signs, or other equipment that do not conform to the System Standards. This requirement ensures uniformity and consistency across all Caring Transitions franchises, maintaining the brand's reputation and quality standards.
This provision is typical in franchising, as franchisors seek to maintain brand consistency and customer experience across all locations. For a prospective franchisee, this means they must be prepared to invest in the specific fixtures and equipment approved by Caring Transitions and should factor these costs into their initial investment and operational budget. It also means they will have limited flexibility in choosing their own vendors or selecting alternative equipment options.
