What This Means (2025 FDD)

The 2025 Caring Transitions Franchise Disclosure Document does not specify the dispute resolution process between franchisees within a Cooperative. However, the document does state that franchisees are required to take appropriate steps to establish and participate in a Cooperative if required by Caring Transitions. If a Cooperative already exists in the franchisee's geographical area, the franchisee must immediately become a member under the terms of its governing documents.

Since the resolution process is not detailed in the FDD, prospective franchisees should inquire with Caring Transitions about the specific procedures outlined in the Cooperative's governing documents for resolving disputes between members. Understanding these procedures is crucial, as membership in a Cooperative is mandatory under certain conditions.

It would be prudent for a potential franchisee to discuss with existing franchisees their experiences within the Cooperative, including any dispute resolution processes they have encountered. This will provide a clearer understanding of the potential challenges and benefits of Cooperative membership within the Caring Transitions franchise system.
