What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Caring Transitions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, a franchisee must open their franchised business within 90 days of completing the initial training program. Failure to do so can result in the termination of the Franchise Agreement by Caring Transitions, without any refund of the fees paid.
This requirement ensures that franchisees promptly implement what they've learned during training and begin operations. This protects the Caring Transitions brand by ensuring franchisees are actively providing services and generating revenue.
Missing this deadline can have significant financial consequences, as the franchisee risks losing their initial investment without having even started the business. Prospective franchisees should carefully consider their readiness to launch the business immediately after training to avoid this risk.
