What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Caring Transitions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the company contributes to the Funds for its company-owned locations on the same basis as comparable franchisees within the system. This means that Caring Transitions, when operating its own franchise locations, pays into the Funds at the same rate and according to the same assessment criteria as its franchisees. This contribution ensures that company-owned locations support the collective advertising and promotional efforts.
This arrangement promotes fairness and alignment between Caring Transitions and its franchisees. By contributing to the Funds on the same basis, Caring Transitions demonstrates its commitment to the overall success of the brand and the network. This also means that the company-owned locations are subject to the same financial obligations for marketing and advertising as the franchisees, ensuring that they share in the responsibility of building brand awareness and generating leads.
Additionally, for each Caring Transitions franchise operated by the franchisor or an affiliate in a geographical area where a Cooperative has been established, Caring Transitions makes a Cooperative Contribution on the same basis as assessments required of comparable franchisees that are members of the same Cooperative. This further aligns the franchisor's financial contributions with those of its franchisees at the local level, supporting regional marketing and promotional efforts. This ensures that company-owned locations participate in and contribute to the local marketing initiatives, fostering a collaborative environment within the Caring Transitions system.
