What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 FDD, Caring Transitions is granted significant authority by each principal regarding online services and registrations. This authority allows Caring Transitions to manage and control the franchisee's online presence to ensure brand consistency and operational efficiency. Specifically, Caring Transitions has the power to transfer, modify, cancel, or remove any service, listing, link, registration, or posting related to the franchisee's online activities. This includes executing and delivering transfer agreements on the principal's behalf. This ensures that Caring Transitions can effectively manage the franchisee's online representation.

This authority extends to various online platforms and services, including telephone service providers, internet service providers, email services, domain registrars, online directories, communication providers, and search engines. Caring Transitions can also manage the franchisee's presence on websites, web pages, social media pages, weblogs, banners, URLs, and domain names. This comprehensive control enables Caring Transitions to maintain a uniform brand image and optimize online marketing strategies across all franchise locations.

Furthermore, Caring Transitions has the power to cancel, revoke, and remove any trade name, assumed name, fictitious name, business name, trademark, or equivalent registration filed by the principal if it includes the names CARING TRANSITIONS or any of Caring Transitions' other marks. This ensures that the franchisee's business registration aligns with the franchisor's branding and intellectual property standards. The franchisor can execute and deliver any cancellation, termination, or modification requests necessary to enforce these standards.

The power of attorney granted to Caring Transitions allows them to perform any acts necessary to carry out the purposes outlined in the agreement, as fully as the principal could themselves. This includes managing online services and registrations to protect the brand and ensure compliance with the franchise agreement. This comprehensive authority is designed to streamline operations and maintain brand integrity across all Caring Transitions franchises.
