What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Caring Transitions' 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to obtain and maintain All-Risk Insurance on all furniture, fixtures, equipment, supplies, and other property used in the operation of the franchised business. This insurance must cover the full replacement cost of these items.

This requirement ensures that the franchisee can recover financially if their business assets are damaged or lost due to unforeseen circumstances such as fire, theft, or natural disasters. By mandating 'full replacement cost' coverage, Caring Transitions aims to ensure franchisees can quickly resume operations without significant financial burden.

In addition to All-Risk Insurance, Caring Transitions also mandates several other insurance coverages, including Commercial General Liability Insurance, Professional Liability Insurance, Automobile Liability Insurance, Employee Dishonesty & Client Theft Insurance, Bailee Insurance, Worker's Compensation Insurance, and an Umbrella Policy. These requirements collectively aim to protect the franchisee, Caring Transitions, and third parties from a variety of potential liabilities and risks associated with operating the business.
