What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Caring Senior Service FDD, franchisees must adhere to the franchisor's requirements regarding remodeling and upgrading their business to comply with the standards applicable to new Caring Senior Service franchisees. These standards ensure uniformity and quality control across all franchise locations.
Specifically, Caring Senior Service reserves the right to modify the design, format, color, trade dress, signage, commercial symbols, décor, products, services, and all other aspects of the businesses to meet competition, enhance business, or improve appearance. Franchisees agree to comply with these changes within the specified time frames. However, Caring Senior Service affirms that franchisees will not be required to perform major remodeling or redecoration more often than once every five years.
All changes made to the Caring Senior Service business are at the franchisee's sole cost and expense. Additionally, franchisees must maintain their business premises and equipment in a neat, clean, orderly, and sanitary condition, ensuring all equipment and furnishings are in good repair and maximum working condition. If any equipment becomes obsolete or depreciated, franchisees must replace it with items meeting the franchisor's then-current standards and specifications.
