Answer from 2025 FDD Document

Currently, we are the licensor of the main business management software used in the operation of the Business as well as your required bookkeeping service provider. In addition, during your first two years in operation, you are required to use "The Hub" which is our centralized back office support services center, which includes such services as new client scheduling and new client development services which includes conducting proactive outreach to connect and make contact with online leads and answering inbound inquiry calls. The Hub also drives caregiver recruitment by posting job openings on job boards, processing and pre-screening applicants, and scheduling in-person interviews. For your initial hires for the Agency Director, Homecare Consultant, and Care Manager during your opening phase of the business, The Hub will post the job openings, process and pre-screen applicants, and schedule them for your in-person interviews. Afterwards, the Hub can assist you with similar staff member recruitment services for its then current price. We are the sole approved supplier of such centralized back office support services, bookkeeping services, and business management software.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Caring Senior Service's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Caring Senior Service itself is the sole approved supplier of its main business management software. This means franchisees are required to license the software directly from Caring Senior Service to manage their business operations.

This requirement ensures that all franchisees use a standardized system for business management, which can help maintain consistency across the Caring Senior Service brand. It also allows Caring Senior Service to control the quality and functionality of the software, and to provide support and updates to all users.

For a prospective franchisee, this means they will not have the option to choose their own business management software and must factor in the costs associated with licensing and using Caring Senior Service's proprietary software, Tendio™. While this ensures uniformity, it also removes the flexibility to select a potentially cheaper or more preferred system. It is important to note that the franchisee is required to use this software, and compliance with this policy will be taken into account if the franchisee chooses to purchase another Franchised Business or renew their Franchise Agreement.
