What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Caring Senior Service's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, royalty fees, along with most other fees, must be paid via electronic funds transfer or automatic debit from the franchisee's operating account, unless Caring Senior Service specifies otherwise. The only exception to this payment method is the conference attendance fee. All fees paid to Caring Senior Service are non-refundable.
If Caring Senior Service is unable to access the Gross Billings amount for your Caring Senior Service Business, or if you are permitted to report Gross Billings but do not submit your report, Caring Senior Service may debit your account for 120% of the Royalty Fee and Marketing Fee that was most recently debited. If the Royalty Fee and Marketing Fee debited are less than what is actually owed, Caring Senior Service will debit the account for the balance once the true Gross Billings have been determined. Conversely, if the debit is greater than what is owed, the excess will be credited against the amount debited from the account during the following period.
Gross Billings are defined as all amounts clients are obligated to pay in connection with the sale of products and services related to the Franchised Business, including all amounts invoiced to clients, regardless of collection, less any sales taxes or taxes collected by you from your clients for transmittal to the appropriate taxing authority and authorized discounts, plus business interruption insurance proceeds. Franchisees should ensure they understand how Gross Billings are calculated, as this figure directly impacts royalty fee payments.
