What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Caring Senior Service's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to successfully complete a GreatCare® Audit at least once every 24 months. The GreatCare® Audit Fee is currently $500 for up to three days. This audit is an internal inspection process designed to ensure that franchised businesses are operating according to Caring Senior Service's standards and specifications.
System franchise business owners undergo specific training to conduct these GreatCare® Audits at other franchise locations. After the audit, which can take up to three days, the auditor submits a completed audit form with suggested corrections for review and approval. Franchisees then have 30 days to implement these corrections and provide proof of completion.
If corrections are not made within the allotted time, Caring Senior Service may require a re-inspection, for which the franchisee may have to pay a re-inspection fee not exceeding the initial GreatCare® Audit fee, plus reimbursement for travel-related expenses. This audit process is a key component of maintaining quality and consistency across all Caring Senior Service franchise locations.
Prospective franchisees should consider the cost of the audit fee, potential re-inspection fees, and the time and resources required to implement any necessary corrections identified during the audit. Failing to comply with audit requirements could lead to additional expenses and potential penalties.
