What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Caring Senior Service's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to purchase products, materials, and supplies from approved distributors and suppliers. However, Caring Senior Service is not obligated to approve any proposed supplier.

If a franchisee wishes to purchase from an unapproved supplier, they must submit a written request for approval, which Caring Senior Service must approve in writing before any purchases are made from that supplier. Caring Senior Service has the right to inspect the supplier's facilities and request product samples, with the evaluation process taking up to 30 days. The franchisee may be required to cover the costs of the inspection or evaluation.

Caring Senior Service also reserves the right to re-inspect approved suppliers and revoke approval if they no longer meet the franchisor's criteria. This system allows Caring Senior Service to maintain quality control and uniformity across all franchise locations, protecting the brand's reputation. While this ensures standards, it also limits the franchisee's autonomy in choosing suppliers and potentially securing better deals independently.
