What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Caring Senior Service Franchise Disclosure Document, as a condition of approving the renewal of a franchise, Caring Senior Service can require a franchisee to remodel, redecorate, re-sign, re-fixture, and/or otherwise refurbish their business. This would bring the business up to the standards of those businesses opened closest in time to the commencement of the renewal period.

Caring Senior Service agrees to notify the franchisee of any such remodeling or refurbishment requirements and the time within which they are to be accomplished at the time they provide the franchisee with a copy of the Franchise Agreement. This notification will occur when the franchisee receives the Franchise Agreement for renewal.

It is important for prospective franchisees to understand that these potential remodeling or refurbishment costs are the franchisee's responsibility. Franchisees should factor in these potential costs when considering renewal. This is a fairly standard practice in franchising, as franchisors want to maintain a consistent brand image and customer experience across all locations.
