What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Caring Senior Service's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to conspicuously display a sign stating "Independently owned and operated." This phrase must also be included on all written materials, including advertisements, stationery, and business cards.

This requirement ensures that customers understand that each Caring Senior Service franchise is independently run, which can impact service delivery and business practices. It's a common practice in franchising to maintain a balance between brand uniformity and local ownership. The purpose of this requirement is to clarify the relationship between the franchisor and franchisee to the public.

Furthermore, the FDD specifies that franchisees cannot use Caring Senior Service's proprietary marks or any derivatives on the internet, except as expressly permitted in writing. This includes using the marks in URLs, domain names, usernames on gaming or social networking websites, or unauthorized email addresses. This restriction is in place to protect the brand's online presence and prevent misuse of its trademarks.
