Answer from 2025 FDD Document

You may purchase some advertising materials from our approved suppliers, or you may have advertising and promotional materials developed for you. For any materials that we have not previously approved or that have not been approved within the immediately preceding 12 month period, you must submit these materials to us for our review. We will have 15 days after receipt of the proposed advertising and promotional materials to notify you whether they have been accepted. Unless we provide our specific approval of the proposed materials, they are deemed not approved. Any advertising materials you submit to us for our review will become our property, and we may use or distribute these materials in any manner we deem appropriate, without compensation to you. All advertising must be conducted in a professional manner, in accordance with the Operations Manual, and must conform to current legislation. We reserve the right to demand the withdrawal of any advertising material at any time.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Caring Senior Service's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, any advertising materials a franchisee submits for review become the property of Caring Senior Service. The company has the right to use or distribute these materials in any way it deems appropriate, without providing any compensation to the franchisee.

This policy has significant implications for franchisees. While franchisees can develop their own advertising and promotional materials, they relinquish ownership and control once the materials are submitted for approval. Caring Senior Service gains the right to utilize these materials across the entire system, potentially benefiting from a franchisee's creative work without direct reimbursement.

Franchisees should carefully consider this policy when deciding whether to develop their own advertising materials or use those provided by Caring Senior Service or its approved suppliers. It's essential to balance the desire for unique local marketing with the understanding that submitted materials become the property of the franchisor. Franchisees should also ensure that all advertising adheres to the Operations Manual and current legislation, as Caring Senior Service reserves the right to demand the withdrawal of any advertising material at any time.
