What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, a Caring Senior Service franchisee is explicitly prohibited from soliciting, accepting, or making sales of any product or service that is not an Approved Service at or from their business. Approved Services are defined as non-medical assistance to the elderly and to disabled or infirm adults at their homes or places of residence, and other related products and services.
This restriction ensures that franchisees adhere to the brand's established business model and service offerings. It maintains consistency across all Caring Senior Service franchise locations and protects the brand's reputation by ensuring that only services vetted and approved by the franchisor are offered.
The FDD also states that franchisees must offer all Approved Services on a continuous basis at the Business at the time and in the manner required by Caring Senior Service. If Caring Senior Service decides to discontinue the marketing of an Approved Service with at least thirty (30) days' notice as part of a general program or standardization effort, the franchisee must comply, and the service will no longer be considered an Approved Service. This allows Caring Senior Service to adapt its service offerings based on market research and trends, and franchisees are obligated to follow these changes.
