What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Caring Senior Service's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are generally prohibited from selling any unapproved products or services. The FDD states that franchisees may only offer for sale 'Approved Services' which include non-medical assistance to the elderly and disabled adults in their homes.

Specifically, the FDD emphasizes that 'No sale of any product or service except Approved Services may be solicited, accepted or made at or from the Business'. This means a franchisee cannot deviate from the services that Caring Senior Service has pre-approved.

While the excerpt does not explicitly detail a process for requesting approval for new items, it does mention that Caring Senior Service may conduct market research and testing to determine consumer trends and salability of new products and services. A prospective franchisee should inquire with Caring Senior Service about the process for suggesting new products or services for approval and the criteria used for evaluation. Understanding this process is crucial for franchisees who may want to adapt their offerings to meet local market demands or emerging trends in senior care.
