What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Caring Senior Service's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Caring Senior Service reserves the right to generate revenue from approved suppliers through rebates, commissions, or other forms of compensation that are tied to the purchases made by Caring Senior Service businesses within the franchise system. The FDD states that there are no restrictions on how Caring Senior Service uses this revenue. As of the document's publication, Caring Senior Service does not currently receive any other rebate amounts.

For a prospective franchisee, this means that the cost of supplies could potentially include a built-in margin that benefits Caring Senior Service, although this may not be explicitly stated in the pricing. While the FDD does not specify how these potential rebates or commissions might affect the franchisee's costs, it's essential to recognize that the franchisor has the right to negotiate these arrangements with suppliers. This practice is not uncommon in franchising, as franchisors often seek to leverage the collective buying power of their franchisees to generate additional revenue streams.

During the fiscal year ended December 31, 2024, Caring Senior Service's total revenue was $3,592,410, of which 36%, or $1,297,770, was the result of franchisee purchases and leases from Caring Senior Service. While this figure reflects revenue derived directly from franchisees, the potential for additional revenue through supplier rebates or commissions could further augment Caring Senior Service's income. Prospective franchisees should consider this aspect when evaluating the overall financial dynamics of the franchise system.

It's important for potential franchisees to inquire about the specifics of these arrangements, including the types of products or services that generate rebates or commissions, the percentage or amount of these payments, and how these arrangements might impact the franchisee's costs or purchasing decisions. Understanding these details can help franchisees make informed decisions and assess the overall value proposition of the Caring Senior Service franchise.
