According to the 2025 FDD, Caring Senior Service establishes standards and specifications for its franchises to ensure uniformity, maintain quality control, and protect its reputation, goodwill, and public acceptance. These standards apply to all facets of the Caring Senior Service franchise, including equipment, signage, layout design, décor, fixtures, inventory supplies, advertising, sales promotion materials, and other products used in the business's operation. The Confidential Operations Manual contains detailed information regarding these standards and specifications, and franchisees must comply with all its provisions. Caring Senior Service retains the right to modify these standards at any time.
Caring Senior Service also approves suppliers and distributors of products, materials, and supplies used in the operation of the business. These suppliers must meet Caring Senior Service's standards and requirements, including those related to product quality, prices, consistency, reliability, financial capability, labor relations, and client relations. Franchisees are required to purchase all products, materials, and supplies only from approved distributors and suppliers. Caring Senior Service may approve a single supplier for any product and may approve a supplier only for certain products.
The franchise agreement states that Caring Senior Service has developed a business system with distinguishing characteristics such as distinctive design, uniform standards, and quality of services. Caring Senior Service uses trademarks to identify the source of services and represent high standards. Franchisees must adhere to these standards to protect the goodwill and enhance the public image of the Caring Senior Service system and its proprietary marks. Caring Senior Service also conducts inspections to ensure franchisees comply with performance standards, and franchisees must maintain their premises and equipment in excellent condition and repair, following Caring Senior Service's requirements for remodeling and upgrades.
