What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Caring Senior Service's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Caring Senior Service has the right to discontinue the operation of the website. Caring Senior Service has the sole right to control all aspects of the website. This includes the design, content, functionality, links to third-party websites, legal notices, policies, and terms of usage.
For a prospective franchisee, this means that Caring Senior Service can shut down the website at any time. This could impact how customers find a franchisee's location and services if the website is a primary source of leads. Franchisees do not have the right to establish a separate website related to the Caring Senior Service brand or system without prior written approval from Caring Senior Service. If a franchisee is approved to establish a website, they must comply with Caring Senior Service's policies, standards, and specifications regarding the creation, maintenance, and content of the website.
Caring Senior Service also has the right to modify the provisions relating to websites as it deems necessary or appropriate. Franchisees are not allowed to use Caring Senior Service's proprietary marks or copyrighted works on any website, except as expressly permitted in writing. This includes using the proprietary marks as part of any URL or domain name or registering them as part of any username on any website. Franchisees must rely on the franchisor to maintain an effective web presence.
