What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Caring Senior Service's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the approval of a supplier is subject to certain conditions. Caring Senior Service may require adherence to specific standards regarding delivery frequency, purchase volume, and service quality, including responsiveness to complaints. These conditions can be temporary while Caring Senior Service evaluates the supplier.

If a franchisee wishes to use a supplier or product not already approved, they must seek written approval from Caring Senior Service before making any purchases. Caring Senior Service has the right to inspect the supplier's facilities and request product samples, which may be sent to Caring Senior Service or an independent testing entity. The evaluation process, including approval or rejection, will be completed within 30 days of submission.

Caring Senior Service retains the right to re-inspect approved suppliers and their products periodically and may revoke approval if the supplier fails to meet Caring Senior Service's criteria. The franchisee may be required to cover the costs associated with these inspections or evaluations. However, Caring Senior Service is not obligated to approve any proposed supplier.

These stipulations allow Caring Senior Service to maintain quality control and uniformity across its franchise system, protecting its brand reputation. For a prospective franchisee, this means they must rely on approved suppliers and adhere to Caring Senior Service's standards, but they also have the option to request approval for new suppliers if desired.
