What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 FDD, if a Caring Senior Service franchisee wants to purchase unapproved items or purchase from an unapproved supplier, they must submit a written request to Caring Senior Service for approval. The 30-day period for approval or rejection of the proposed supplier or product begins upon submission of the request.
Caring Senior Service has the option to inspect the supplier's facilities and require product samples, which can be sent either directly to Caring Senior Service or to an independent entity designated by them for testing. The evaluation, testing, and ultimate decision to approve or reject the supplier or product must be completed within this 30-day timeframe.
Caring Senior Service does not guarantee approval of any proposed supplier and retains the right to re-inspect approved suppliers and revoke approval if they no longer meet the brand's criteria. The franchisee may also be required to reimburse Caring Senior Service for the costs associated with the inspection or evaluation of the supplier.
