Is Care Plus Medical Ucc required to inspect a franchisee's construction or remodeling progress?

Franchisee shall not begin any construction or remodeling work without first obtaining Care Plus Medical UCC's approval of Franchisee's plans.
Care Plus Medical UCC may, but is not required to, inspect Franchisee's construction or remodeling progress at any reasonable time.
Franchisee shall not rely upon any information provided or opinions expressed by Care Plus Medical UCC or its representatives regarding any architectural, engineering, or legal matters (including without limitation the Americans With Disabilities Act) in the development and construction of the Business, and Care Plus Medical UCC assumes no liability with respect thereto.
Care Plus Medical UCC's inspection and/or approval to open the Business is not a representation or a warranty that the Business has been constructed in accordance with any architectural, engineering, or legal standards.

What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Care Plus Medical Ucc's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Care Plus Medical Ucc is not required to inspect a franchisee's construction or remodeling progress. However, the franchisee must first obtain Care Plus Medical Ucc's approval of their plans before beginning any construction or remodeling work.
Even though Care Plus Medical Ucc may choose to inspect the franchisee's construction or remodeling progress, the franchisee cannot rely on any information or opinions expressed by Care Plus Medical Ucc or its representatives regarding architectural, engineering, or legal matters. Care Plus Medical Ucc assumes no liability in these areas.
Furthermore, Care Plus Medical Ucc's inspection and/or approval to open the business does not represent or warrant that the business was constructed according to any architectural, engineering, or legal standards. The franchisee bears the ultimate responsibility for ensuring compliance with all applicable standards and regulations.
