What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Care Plus Medical Ucc's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Care Plus Medical Ucc may require a remodel of the location as a condition of a transfer. Specifically, Care Plus Medical Ucc retains the right to mandate a remodel as a prerequisite for the transfer of a franchise to a new franchisee.

This condition means that if Care Plus Medical Ucc deems it necessary to update the location to meet current System Standards, the franchisee looking to transfer ownership may be required to complete a remodel before the transfer can be approved. This ensures that all locations maintain a consistent brand image and meet operational standards, regardless of ownership changes.

For a prospective franchisee, this highlights the importance of understanding the potential costs and requirements associated with a remodel during a transfer. It would be prudent to discuss with Care Plus Medical Ucc their specific criteria for remodels in the context of franchise transfers and to assess the likelihood and potential costs of such a requirement. This information can help in making an informed decision about purchasing a Care Plus Medical Ucc franchise and planning for future exit strategies.
