We will provide you with our suggested staffing levels (Section 5.2), suggested guidelines for hiring employees (Section 5.2), operational instructions in the Manual which you can use as part of training new employees (Section 5.3), and our initial training program described below.
Our opening support (as described below) includes assisting you in training employees.
All hiring decisions and conditions of employment are your sole responsibility.

We anticipate holding training classes in advance of the opening of the franchisee's location, doing so remotely, at a corporate location, and at the franchisee's location once sufficient build-out has been completed and close to being open, as elaborated on in the additional questions below. This may change as we start to bring on more franchisees.
The instruction materials consist primarily of our Onboarding Checklist which contains links organized by section for all applicable written procedures, training videos, learning checks referred to as Knowledge Reviews (automatically graded with correct answers provided, with a structure in place requiring successful completion via a minimum score threshold), and a shadowing/coaching checklist and approval process all required to successfully and fully complete the necessary training. Additional instructional material will be provided consisting of additional similar training (additional procedures, additional video training, additional checklists, etc.) for "higher-level" functions required of the franchisee and/or the individual acting as the owner/operator and/or manager of the franchisee. There is no fee for up to 4 people to attend training. You must pay the travel and living expenses of your employees or managers attending training.
Your business must at all times be under your on-site supervision or under the on-site supervision of a general manager who has completed our training program. If you need to send a new general manager to our training program, we will charge a fee, which is currently $450 per day, per 6-hour day/session.

According to Care Plus Medical Ucc's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Care Plus Medical Ucc offers several forms of assistance to franchisees in hiring and training employees. Care Plus Medical Ucc will provide suggested staffing levels and guidelines for hiring employees. Additionally, Care Plus Medical Ucc provides operational instructions in the Brand Standards Manual that franchisees can use as part of their employee training. Care Plus Medical Ucc also offers an initial training program and on-site support for one week in connection with the business opening to assist in training employees. However, all final hiring decisions and employment conditions remain the sole responsibility of the franchisee.

Care Plus Medical Ucc training classes are scheduled based on the needs of new franchisees and may be held remotely, at a corporate location, or at the franchisee's location. The training is led by the franchisor or a delegated corporate employee. The training materials include an Onboarding Checklist with links to written procedures, training videos, Knowledge Reviews, and a shadowing/coaching checklist. Franchisees must attend training, and up to four people can attend without a fee, though the franchisee is responsible for travel and living expenses. Franchisees must complete training to Care Plus Medical Ucc's satisfaction at least four weeks before opening their business and pass a test to demonstrate their understanding of the material.
