Does Care Plus Medical Ucc have the obligation to implement a centralized purchasing system?

According to Care Plus Medical Ucc's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Care Plus Medical Ucc is not obligated to implement a centralized purchasing system. However, Care Plus Medical Ucc has the option to implement such a system.

Care Plus Medical Ucc retains the right to negotiate prices and terms with vendors on behalf of the entire Care Plus Medical Ucc system. They may also receive financial benefits such as rebates or payments from vendors based on franchisee purchases. Furthermore, Care Plus Medical Ucc has the option to collect payments from franchisees on behalf of vendors, remitting these payments and potentially imposing a markup for administering this payment program.

Care Plus Medical Ucc may also establish a purchasing cooperative that franchisees would be required to join and participate in, under terms and conditions set by Care Plus Medical Ucc. This gives Care Plus Medical Ucc flexibility in how purchasing is managed within the franchise system.
