What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Care Plus Medical Ucc's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Care Plus Medical Ucc has the right to modify the Manual at its discretion. The Manual outlines the standards and procedures for operating a Care Plus Medical Ucc franchise. This includes the ability to supplement, revise, or modify the manual, and to change, add, or delete System Standards at any time.

Care Plus Medical Ucc can inform franchisees of these changes through any method it deems appropriate. The method of informing franchisees does not need to qualify as formal "notice." In the event of a dispute about the contents of the Manual, Care Plus Medical Ucc's master copy will be the controlling document.

This clause gives Care Plus Medical Ucc broad authority to update operational guidelines and standards, which is typical in franchising to maintain brand consistency and adapt to market changes. However, the franchisee should be aware that changes can be made without formal notice, and the master copy held by Care Plus Medical Ucc will be the final authority in any disputes.
