We issue specifications and standards to you for applicable aspects of the franchise in our Manual and/or in written directives. We may issue new specifications and standards for any aspect of our brand system, or modify existing specifications and standards, at any time by revising our Manual and/or issuing new written directives (which may be communicated to you by any method

we choose). We will generally (but are not obligated to) issue new or revised specifications only after thorough testing in our headquarters, in company-owned outlets, and/or a limited market test in multiple units.

What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Care Plus Medical Ucc's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Care Plus Medical Ucc has the authority to modify existing specifications and standards. The FDD states that Care Plus Medical Ucc may issue new specifications and standards for any aspect of its brand system, or modify existing ones, at any time. These changes will be communicated by revising the Brand Standards Manual or issuing new written directives, which can be delivered through any method Care Plus Medical Ucc chooses.

This means that as a franchisee, you must stay updated on any changes to the specifications and standards, as Care Plus Medical Ucc can implement them at any time. These updates could affect various aspects of your business, from the equipment you use to the services you offer. It is crucial to regularly review the Brand Standards Manual and any written directives from Care Plus Medical Ucc to ensure compliance.

Care Plus Medical Ucc will generally issue new or revised specifications only after thorough testing in their headquarters, company-owned outlets, and/or a limited market test in multiple units. While this testing may provide some assurance that changes are well-considered, franchisees should still be prepared to adapt to modifications in standards and specifications as part of operating a Care Plus Medical Ucc franchise.
