What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Care Plus Medical Ucc's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must adhere to all applicable laws and regulations while operating their business. This encompasses obtaining and maintaining all necessary governmental permits and licenses required for the business's operation.

Furthermore, Care Plus Medical Ucc franchisees must comply with payment card industry data security standards (PCI-DSS) if they accept payments via credit or debit cards. This is a common requirement for businesses to ensure secure handling of customer payment information and to prevent data breaches. Franchisees are also expected to adhere to any code of ethics or statement of values provided by Care Plus Medical UCC, ensuring that their business practices align with the franchisor's standards.

Care Plus Medical Ucc also retains the right to modify System Standards for individual franchises based on factors such as local laws and regulations. However, a franchisee is not automatically entitled to the same variations or waivers granted to others. This highlights the importance of franchisees staying informed about and compliant with all relevant legal and regulatory changes in their specific location. Franchisees are also expected to follow guidelines regarding product recalls, immediately ceasing the use or sale of any item subject to a recall and complying with instructions from Care Plus Medical UCC or the item's vendor or manufacturer.
