What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to Care Plus Medical Ucc's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are indeed solely responsible for all hiring decisions and conditions of employment. While Care Plus Medical Ucc offers support by providing suggested staffing levels and guidelines for hiring employees, the ultimate decision-making power rests with the franchisee.

This means that a prospective Care Plus Medical Ucc franchisee has complete control over who they hire, how they train them (using the operational instructions provided in the manual), and the terms of their employment. This autonomy allows franchisees to tailor their staffing to the specific needs of their location and business strategy.

However, it also places the full burden of responsibility for compliance with labor laws and regulations on the franchisee. Franchisees must ensure they are up-to-date on all applicable employment laws and best practices. While Care Plus Medical Ucc provides some initial guidance and training resources, it is the franchisee's duty to stay informed and manage their employees effectively. This includes all aspects of employment, such as hiring, firing, promotions, and compensation.
