What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Care Plus Medical Ucc's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to operate their franchised business under the "Care Plus Medical UCC" service mark and logo, along with other trademarks, trade names, service marks, and commercial symbols authorized by Care Plus Medical Ucc. This requirement applies regardless of whether the franchisee chooses the Direct Ownership Model or the Managed Operation Model.
For franchisees operating under the Managed Operation Model, a Practice Entity approved by Care Plus Medical Ucc will receive a sublicense to use the Names and Marks at or through the Franchised Business. The franchisee is responsible for ensuring that the Practice Entity and its Licensed Providers operate the Franchised Business in accordance with Care Plus Medical Ucc's system, specifications, and standards.
This means that all Care Plus Medical Ucc franchisees must use the brand's designated logo and trademarks in their business operations. This ensures brand consistency across all franchise locations, which is a common practice in franchising. Franchisees should familiarize themselves with the specific guidelines and standards for using the Care Plus Medical Ucc logo and other marks, as outlined in the franchise agreement and related documents.
