What This Means (2024 FDD)

According to the 2024 Care Plus Medical UCC Franchise Disclosure Document, in the event of a disagreement regarding the contents of the Manual, Care Plus Medical UCC's master copy will be the controlling version. This means that if a franchisee has a different version of the manual, whether in physical or electronic form, the version maintained by Care Plus Medical UCC will be considered the official and correct one.

This provision is important for prospective franchisees because it clarifies that Care Plus Medical UCC has the final say on what the official policies and procedures are. Franchisees must adhere to the most current version of the manual as maintained by Care Plus Medical UCC, even if they possess an older or different version. This underscores the importance of staying updated with any changes or modifications made to the manual by Care Plus Medical UCC.

Care Plus Medical UCC retains the right to modify the manual at its discretion and inform franchisees through methods it deems appropriate. This includes the ability to supplement, revise, or modify the manual and change, add, or delete System Standards at any time. Franchisees should, therefore, ensure they regularly check for updates and clarifications from Care Plus Medical UCC to remain compliant with the franchise agreement. This also means that the franchisee may not receive formal "notice" as defined in other sections of the agreement, but is still responsible for adhering to the changes.
