Does Care Plus Medical Ucc charge a fee for the standard pre-opening training?

According to the 2024 Care Plus Medical UCC Franchise Disclosure Document, Care Plus Medical UCC does not charge a fee for its standard pre-opening training. This training is made available to the Principal Executive and up to three other team members. The training takes place at Care Plus Medical UCC's headquarters or at a Care Plus Medical business designated by Care Plus Medical UCC.

While Care Plus Medical UCC does not charge a fee for the training itself, the franchisee is responsible for covering their own travel, lodging, meal, and other out-of-pocket expenses associated with attending the training. Care Plus Medical UCC also retains the right to change the length and content of the initial training program based on the experience and skill level of the individuals attending.

This is a benefit to prospective franchisees as it reduces the initial investment costs. However, franchisees should still budget for the associated travel and living expenses. It is also important to note that if a franchisee sends an employee to Care Plus Medical UCC's training program after opening, Care Plus Medical UCC may charge its then-current training fee. As of the date of the agreement, this fee is $450 per day.
