What This Means (2024 FDD)
According to Care Plus Medical Ucc's 2024 Franchise Disclosure Document, Care Plus Medical Ucc may require the Principal Executive and/or other employees to complete post-opening training programs. These programs can be in any format and location determined by Care Plus Medical Ucc. Importantly, Care Plus Medical Ucc retains the right to charge a reasonable fee for these training programs.
This means that as a Care Plus Medical Ucc franchisee, you and your employees may be required to attend additional training after the business opens. These training sessions could cover new procedures, updated technologies, or other aspects of the Care Plus Medical Ucc system. The FDD states that Care Plus Medical Ucc can charge a 'reasonable fee' for these programs, but it does not specify what constitutes a reasonable fee.
Furthermore, if the training program requires travel for the Principal Executive or any other employee, the franchisee is responsible for covering all travel, living, and other related expenses. This could add a significant cost to the training, depending on the location and duration of the program. Prospective franchisees should inquire about the typical frequency, cost, and location of post-opening training programs to better understand the potential financial implications.
