What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to the 2025 Card My Yard FDD, Card My Yard provides franchisees with a list of approved suppliers both before opening their business and during its operation. Specifically, prior to opening, Card My Yard will provide a list of any approved suppliers to the franchisee. After the Card My Yard business is open, the franchisor will provide updated lists of approved suppliers and vendors to franchisees.
This is a benefit to franchisees as it helps streamline the supply chain and ensures they are sourcing materials from reputable vendors that meet Card My Yard's standards. This can save time and effort in researching and vetting suppliers independently.
Additionally, the FDD states that Card My Yard may, but is not obligated to, provide a list of approved architects and engineers. This is relevant if the franchisee needs to construct or remodel their Card My Yard business location. While not guaranteed, this list could be a valuable resource for franchisees needing these services.
