What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Card My Yard's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees receive their Net Proceeds on a weekly basis. Specifically, Net Proceeds distributions are made every Friday, although these distributions may be delayed due to bank holidays. Card My Yard also retains the right to change the distribution date schedule at any time, provided that they give franchisees written notice.
"Net Proceeds" is defined as the total amount paid by customers on a weekly basis, less several deductions. These deductions include royalty fees, Marketing Fund contributions (if applicable), any other fees or amounts owed to Card My Yard, sales taxes collected from customers, and any other amounts the franchisee may owe to Card My Yard or its affiliates.
This weekly distribution schedule provides Card My Yard franchisees with regular access to their earnings, which can help with managing cash flow and covering operational expenses. However, franchisees should be aware that the amount they receive each week will depend on their sales volume and the various deductions outlined in the Franchise Agreement. The potential for changes to the distribution schedule also introduces a degree of uncertainty, although Card My Yard is required to provide written notice of any such changes.
