Answer from 2025 FDD Document

If we require you to begin offering any new products or services in the future we will provide you with 90 days' notice ofsuch new requirements and identify the items or equipment that you must purchase in order to offer such new products or services.

If you fail to purchase the items or equipment required to offer the new products or services within a reasonable time after notification (which shall in no event be longer than 90 days), we may, at our option, purchase such items or equipment on your behalf and ship them to you while deducting the costs of the items and shipping from your designated account via ACH/EFT withdrawal.

What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Card My Yard's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if Card My Yard requires franchisees to begin offering new products or services, they will provide 90 days' notice of such requirements. This notice will also identify the specific items or equipment that the franchisee must purchase to offer the new products or services.

If a Card My Yard franchisee fails to purchase the required items or equipment within a reasonable time after notification, which will not be longer than 90 days, Card My Yard has the option to purchase the items or equipment on the franchisee's behalf. The costs of the items and shipping may then be deducted from the franchisee's designated account via ACH/EFT withdrawal.

This policy ensures that Card My Yard franchisees have a defined period to comply with new requirements, while also protecting Card My Yard's ability to maintain uniformity and standards across all franchise locations. The option for Card My Yard to purchase equipment on behalf of the franchisee serves as a safeguard to ensure compliance and prevent disruption of service offerings.
