What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Card My Yard's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if a franchisee is required to submit architectural and design plans for their Card My Yard business, they must do so within 15 days of receiving the initial plans. Card My Yard then has 15 days to notify the franchisee of any objections to these plans.
If Card My Yard fails to notify the franchisee of any objections within this 15-day period, the franchisee is permitted to proceed with the plans as submitted. However, if Card My Yard does object, they must provide a detailed list of the changes needed to align the plans with the company's System standards.
Following the submission of revised plans incorporating the requested changes, Card My Yard again has 15 days to notify the franchisee whether the revised plans are acceptable. If no notification is received within this second 15-day window, the franchisee can use the revised plans. It is important to note that Card My Yard's review of the plans is solely to ensure compliance with System standards and does not constitute a warranty or guarantee of the plans' accuracy or freedom from errors.
