What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Card My Yard's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, if you plan to operate your Card My Yard business from a location other than your primary residence, you must first submit a description of the proposed site and evidence that it meets Card My Yard's site selection guidelines. This submission must be in the format specified by Card My Yard, including a final copy of the lease or sales contract with a rider in the form of Exhibit F.

Card My Yard then has fifteen (15) days after receiving all the required site information to either accept or reject the proposed site. This decision is made at Card My Yard's sole discretion. You are not allowed to sign the lease or contract until Card My Yard approves the site in writing.

If Card My Yard approves multiple sites, you have five (5) days from the date of their acceptance to notify Card My Yard in writing which site you intend to acquire. The FDD emphasizes that Card My Yard's acceptance of a site does not guarantee the profitability or success of the business at that location.
