The training program will be conducted online or, if you choose, at our headquarters in Springville, Utah or a regional training location designated by us. We provide online training materials at no charge, but if you choose to travel to our Austin headquarters for training you must pay all expensesthat you and your personnel incur in initial training, including costs of travel, lodging, meals and wages. What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to the 2025 Card My Yard Franchise Disclosure Document, the training program can be completed online or, if the franchisee chooses, at the Card My Yard headquarters in Springville, Utah, or at a regional training location designated by Card My Yard. The online training materials are provided at no charge. However, if the franchisee chooses to travel to the headquarters in Austin for training, they must cover all associated expenses, including travel, lodging, meals, and wages for themselves and their personnel. Card My Yard may also charge a reasonable training fee for training successor or replacement personnel.

The initial training program, including online instruction courses, is anticipated to take approximately 22 hours to complete. Once the online training is complete, a mandatory training call is required to review the information. Additionally, Card My Yard may schedule follow-up phone calls as deemed necessary. The Principal Owner and General Manager are required on the call.

Elizabeth Mangrum, the Director of Learning and Development, along with Amanda Vaughn and/or Diana Moore and qualified staff members with at least one year of experience, will conduct the training. The training materials include online courses, manuals, and other presentation materials. The initial training program is offered at all times as an online course and as needed during the year, depending on the number of new franchisees, personnel needing training, and the scheduled opening of new Card My Yard businesses.
