What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Card My Yard's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees are required to take necessary steps to promptly correct any deficiencies detected during an inspection. Card My Yard and its agents have the right to enter the business at any reasonable time to conduct these inspections, and franchisees must cooperate with the representatives during the inspection.

If a franchisee fails to correct the deficiencies within a reasonable time frame, as determined by Card My Yard, the company has the right, but not the obligation, to correct the deficiencies themselves. The franchisee will then be charged a reasonable fee for the expenses incurred by Card My Yard in taking corrective action, including any necessary re-inspection fees. This fee is payable on demand.

This clause ensures that Card My Yard maintains its brand standards across all franchise locations. It also protects the brand's reputation by ensuring that any operational shortcomings are addressed quickly and effectively. For a prospective franchisee, this means being prepared for regular inspections and being proactive in addressing any issues that are identified to avoid additional fees and maintain compliance with the franchise agreement.
