What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Card My Yard's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, after Card My Yard accepts the site for your franchise and you acquire it, the address of the site will be entered on Exhibit C to the Franchise Agreement as the Franchise Location. Additionally, the Protected Area around this Franchise Location will be described on Exhibit C.
Exhibit C is therefore a key document that formally defines the location from which you are authorized to operate your Card My Yard business and specifies the geographic area within which you are granted certain protections. This exhibit is an integral part of the Franchise Agreement, solidifying your rights and responsibilities related to your territory.
It is important to understand the details outlined in Exhibit C, as it directly impacts where you can conduct business and where Card My Yard will protect your interests. Any relocation of the Card My Yard business requires prior written consent from Card My Yard, unless the Franchise Location is your home and you move to a new residence within your Protected Area.
