What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Card My Yard's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Card My Yard reserves the right to change or add designated suppliers. Franchisees will receive written notice of these changes. As of the date of the FDD, franchisees are required to purchase specific categories of items from designated sources.
Currently, Card My Yard is the only approved supplier for yard letters and signs. Franchisees must return these to Card My Yard at the end of the franchise agreement and purchase a minimum of $500 per year in these items. Card My Yard also requires franchisees to purchase all "Card My Yard" branded items from them or a designated third party.
If Card My Yard requires franchisees to offer new products or services, they will provide 90 days' notice and identify the necessary equipment. Failure to purchase the required items within 90 days allows Card My Yard to purchase them on the franchisee's behalf, deducting the costs (up to $1,000 per year) from their account. Card My Yard may also require franchisees to use new or additional designated sources for other products or services with reasonable notice.
