We provide online training materials at no charge, but if you choose to travel to our Austin headquarters for training you must pay all expensesthat you and your personnel incur in initial training, including costs of travel, lodging, meals and wages. What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Card My Yard's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, the franchisor may charge a training fee for successor or replacement personnel. While the initial training program for the Principal Owner and General Manager is provided without a fee, this applies only to the initial training. This initial training program, including online instruction courses, is anticipated to take approximately 22 hours to complete.
If the franchisee chooses to travel to the headquarters in Springville, Utah for training, they must cover all associated expenses, including travel, lodging, meals, and wages for themselves and their personnel. Card My Yard retains the right to charge a reasonable training fee for any subsequent training of successor or replacement personnel.
