What This Means (2025 FDD)

According to Card My Yard's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees must use Card My Yard's payment processing services throughout the term of the Franchise Agreement. These services include collecting fees directly from customers and distributing funds to the franchisee after deducting royalties and any other amounts owed to Card My Yard.

Card My Yard reserves the right to delegate these payment processing duties to a third party or parties selected by them at their discretion. However, Card My Yard states explicitly that they do not charge the franchisee a fee for these payment processing services.

This is a notable benefit for prospective franchisees, as payment processing fees can often be a significant expense for businesses. The fact that Card My Yard covers these fees could improve a franchisee's profit margin. Franchisees should confirm whether third-party processors charge fees that Card My Yard passes on.
