We may periodically make changes to the systems, service menu, standards, facility, signage, equipment and fixture requirements for your franchised business. All Card My Yard businesses must be developed and operated in accordance with our specifications, standards, policies and procedures, which will be communicated to you via our confidential Operations Manual or otherwise in writing.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Card My Yard's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, franchisees will be kept informed of any modifications to the franchise's operational standards and systems through two primary channels. These changes, which may pertain to systems, service menus, facility requirements, signage, or equipment, will be communicated either through the confidential Operations Manual or via written notices. This ensures that all Card My Yard businesses are developed and operated according to the franchisor's current specifications, standards, policies, and procedures.
This communication method is fairly standard in the franchise industry, where franchisors need to maintain consistency across all locations while also adapting to market changes and improvements in operational practices. The Operations Manual typically contains detailed instructions and guidelines for running the business, while written notices can address more immediate or specific updates.
For a prospective Card My Yard franchisee, this means staying vigilant about updates to both the Operations Manual and any written communications from the franchisor. It is crucial to regularly review these materials to ensure compliance with the latest standards and procedures. Failure to adhere to these changes could potentially result in a breach of the franchise agreement. Franchisees should also maintain open communication with the franchisor to seek clarification on any updates and to ensure a clear understanding of the new requirements.
