[Item 1: THE FRANCHISOR, AND ANY PARENTS, PREDECESSORS AND AFFILIATES]
We are a limited liability company formed under the laws of the State of Delaware on September 3, 2020. Our principal business address is 761 W. 1200 N., Suite 300, Springville, Utah 84663. We do business under our legal name and the name "Card My Yard". Our registered agents for service of process are listed in Exhibit D to this Disclosure Document.
[Item 12: TERRITORY]
The Franchise Agreement gives you the right to operate a Card My Yard business at a site we accept as meeting our site selection guidelines (the "Location"). We anticipate that most, if not all, of our franchisees will operate their Card My Yard businesses from their homes. However, if you elect to operate from a site other than your home, then you must select the site for your Card My Yard business from within a non-exclusive "Designated Search Area" that will be agreed upon and identified in Exhibit C to your Franchise Agreement. If applicable, the Designated Search Area will be agreed upon by you and us before your execution of the Franchise Agreement. If you choose to operate your Card My Yard business from your home then there will be no need to identify a Designated Search Area. You will have no exclusivity or other rights within the Designated Search Area other than the right to identify a proposed site for your Card My Yard business. After you locate a site acceptable to us or notify us that you will operate your Card My Yard business from your home we will grant you a "Protected Area" around your site as described below.
You must operate the Franchised Business only from your home or another location approved by us in writing within the agreed upon "Protected Area" set forth in Exhibit C of the Franchise Agreement (the "Protected Area").
The Franchise Agreement requires you to designate a "Principal Owner." Your Principal Owner is the main individual responsible for your business. Your Principal Owner must meet our qualifications and must be approved by us. Your current and future owners, including your Principal Owner, must sign a Guaranty and Assumption Agreement ("Guaranty"), guaranteeing your performance and binding themselves individually to certain provisions of the Franchise Agreement, including the covenants against competition and disclosure of confidential information, restrictions on transfer and dispute resolution procedures.

What This Means (2025 FDD)
Based on the 2025 Card My Yard Franchise Disclosure Document, Exhibit C to the Franchise Agreement contains information about the Designated Search Area and Protected Area. If a franchisee elects to operate from a site other than their home, Exhibit C will identify the Designated Search Area, which is agreed upon by both the franchisee and Card My Yard before the execution of the Franchise Agreement. The franchisee will have the right to identify a proposed site for their Card My Yard business within this non-exclusive Designated Search Area.
Once a site is approved or the franchisee notifies Card My Yard that they will operate from home, Card My Yard will grant a Protected Area around the site. The franchisee must operate the Franchised Business only from their home or another location approved by Card My Yard in writing within the agreed upon Protected Area, which is also set forth in Exhibit C of the Franchise Agreement.
Exhibit D lists Card My Yard's registered agents for service of process. This exhibit provides the necessary contact information for legal and official correspondence with the company. The FDD also mentions a Guaranty and Assumption Agreement that current and future owners, including the Principal Owner, must sign, guaranteeing their performance and binding them individually to certain provisions of the Franchise Agreement.
