What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Card My Yard's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, Card My Yard will assist franchisees in organizing their grand opening promotion. The FDD specifies that during the period beginning ten days prior to the opening date and ending sixty days after the opening date, franchisees must conduct a grand opening promotion for their Card My Yard business, adhering to Card My Yard's standards.
As part of this grand opening, franchisees are required to spend a minimum of $250 on advertising and promotion. Additionally, they must complete at least 10 promotional yard greeting services and promote these services on social media during the grand opening period.
Card My Yard also requires that all advertising items, methods, and media used for the grand opening promotion must be approved by them. Furthermore, all discounted or free promotional yard greeting services offered must be properly recorded and reported using the Card My Yard e-commerce system, with failure to do so constituting a material breach of the agreement.
