What This Means (2025 FDD)
According to Carbones Pizzeria's 2025 Franchise Disclosure Document, while most Carbones Pizzeria Restaurants serve alcoholic beverages, it is not a requirement. However, franchisees must obtain approval from Carbones Pizzeria before they can begin serving alcoholic beverages at their Restaurant.
This requirement means that prospective Carbones Pizzeria franchisees cannot automatically assume they can serve alcohol, even if they plan to operate a full-service restaurant model that typically includes a bar. They must first seek and receive approval from the franchisor, M & T Pizza Incorporated.
Additionally, the FDD states that if a Carbones Pizzeria Restaurant will be serving alcoholic beverages, the franchisee must comply with all laws regarding the service of alcoholic beverages, including age restrictions. Background checks are normally required of all the owners and certain management personnel before a liquor license will be issued.
